Or, do democrats lean towards who ever hates Bush the most, or who most embodies all of their beliefs? So, if anyone could post a few politicians they admire and why, and their political affiliation I will try to write an article as to what republicans and democrats and people in ...

Perhaps nothing about President Bush's re-election unhinged Democrats more than the roughly 20% of voters who cited "moral values" as their top concern. Never mind the tizzy of soul searching it has provoked among party officials. (Why do churchgoers hate us? Is Howard Dean too godless to head the Democratic National Committee?) You can't even have a beer with a rank-and-file liberal these days without the conversation degenerating into paranoid fantasies about how evangelical leaders...

Also only one independent in the senate are they under represented? Or do they just lack an organized front. Why didn't they vote for Nader? Did he alianate his own base? What are your opinions?

During a seventh straight day of protests in Kiev's Independence Square, opposition leader Viktor Yushchenko defied current President Leonid Kuchma's call for the protests to end, and urged his supporters to maintain "peaceful protests ... here until the end." In eastern Ukraine, where his support is strongest, Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych also preached the value of peaceful protest. "I call on you not to take any radical steps," he said. How did Democrats go so wrong in the past elections. Of course tails are flying from either side of the political aisle but what really went wrong? Were we out of touch like republicans say? Did we neglect our base as the news organizations say? In my opinion we had all the wrong people running. Look at John Kerry, the polls are in his favor he sits back, the polls aren't in his favor we see more of Edwards. Of course not every office had the wrong candidate. Look at Colorado, Rebli...
